Mini Leano has more than 19 years with the Firm. A graduate of the prestigious University of the Philippines (Diliman, Quezon City), Mini completed paralegal school and later law school while working full time. She is a thorough, precise and trusted member of the Firm. Senior attorneys routinely turn to her for key assignments. Her encyclopedic knowledge of cases and technical capabilities in managing the Firm’s extensive client files (historical and current) is an essential benefit valued throughout the Firm. During law school and while in her third trimester, she competed in Moot Court and consistently received academic awards. Mini is a passionate advocate for clients. She has deep law and motion experience in State and Federal courts and has been part of the Firm’s trial teams for years. Her experience includes working in Federal Court on an alleged 5000 member plus class action; a long cause (4.5 month) trial victory in Sacramento that decided worker classification issues for a client’s statewide operations (1500+ independent contractors); and a leading role for a Firm team that won six of six independent contractor misclassification arbitrations between March of 2022 and February 2023.

Education

Mini received her law degree from Trinity Law School. She earned her Paralegal certificate from UCLA Extension Program and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of the Philippines (Diliman, Quezon City).
