Obtained defense verdict on liability in medical malpractice action alleging failure to timely diagnose and treat breast cancer without medical expert on standard of care.

After 21 day administrative hearing, obtained judgment in favor of client alleged to have discriminated against employee in promotion on basis of race and gender, demoted employee within one week in retaliation of for having of filing discrimination claim, and violated Family Leave and Medical Act.

Obtained dismissals of class actions against banking institutions for alleged illegal charging of reconveyance fees.

Obtained nonsuit of federal civil rights claim arising from stabbing of plaintiff at public entity owned and operated drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Obtained judgment, attorneys' fees and costs against borrower who fraudulently obtained an over million dollar loan on Malibu property.

Co-counsel in successful defense of mortgage banker in suit by investor in secondary mortgage market resulting in award of substantial fees and costs to client.

Obtained numerous summary judgment motions in favor of tire, wheel and mixing machine manufacturers and retailers.

Obtained over million dollar settlement in favor of owner and carrier against general and subcontractors following collapse of 36,000 square foot refrigerated storehouse.

Successfully represented police officers, police department and public entities in several actions alleging violation of civil rights, assault and battery.

Authored winning appellate brief in action against insurance broker who was alleged to have committed malpractice in failing to obtain sufficient insurance coverage for insured who had stipulated to a multi-million judgment in excess of policy limits, with a covenant not to execute and assignment of rights to parent's of minor rendered physically and neurologically impaired by swimming pool accident.

Ronald is admitted to practice in California, as well as before the US District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. He is also admitted to practice before the US Federal Court of Claims.

Education:
Ronald received his BA in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his JD from UCLA School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal.
