top-level plaintiffs’ class action attorneys who forced multi-million-dollar settlements by nationally-recognized Fortune 500 companies including UPS, FedEx, BestBuy
and Ralphs grocery stores. In the process, our client saved on fees and was able to return its attention to important business matters temporarily sidelined by the

Consumer Class Action Defense
Our attorneys have also gained prominence representing a wide range of businesses against products liability actions brought by consumers. In one such case, the
manufacturer of a furnace obtained very favorable settlement when sued in tandem with multiple other manufacturers regarding an alleged defect in thousands of
furnaces sold in California. The furnaces had already been subject to recall under the Consumer Product Safety Act, and the manufacturer faced millions of dollars in
potential liability for its role in the manufacturing process. Despite this massive threat, the client’s burden was significantly reduced as the result of skilled
lawyering and negotiating. In the end, the client’s settlement was far more advantageous than that obtained by any other manufacturer named in the suit.
Our expertise also includes defense of a group of regional banks in California and Texas, sued by a class of consumers alleging that the banks were charging unfair
reconveyance fees in connection with changes of title. Immediately upon the client’s selection of one of our experienced attorneys, a defense strategy based upon the
statute of limitations was formulated and deployed. The class action was eliminated in record time, saving the client thousands in fees and potential millions in
damage awards to the consumer class.
